We've been making these family pickle recipes for almost 20 years now. Some of them date back 100 years and have their roots in the Carpathian mountain regions of the Ukraine where my grandparents were born and raised. Back then simple processes and natural ingredients were used to preserve the harvest through the winter months. As an artisanal pickle company we apply those same principles to all the products we make. While this approach may keep us from being the biggest, it will ensure we only deliver the finest products to market.

As with our family, we apply our core beliefs to the operation of the company.
We're the Olenicks and we currently reside in Lititz Pennsylvania. We decided to start the company after our good friend, Vernon Martin, provided the necessary encourgement. Vernon (and his business) has helped us on many projects around our home as it has grown over the last 18 years. It was Vernon who said; “hey, you should sell these things” after trying one of our barrel cured garlic dill pickles. And thus, the Lititz Pickle Company was born.
